    yes, I've read a book or two by Jerzy Kosinski, but doubt that the knowledge of this boast would have enhanced my impression of his writing :)

    Thanks :)Neither it did mine. A very strange character, don't you think? I read his biography not long ago and I met him in Poland in 1990 (I think). Both gave me the impression of him being a complete fake as a person.
